With her mother, Molly, father Gregg and tennis coach Kim Gilbert looking on, OHS senior Cara Wald signs her National Letter of Intent to attend Miami University in the fall of 2007 and play on the Miami University tennis team. Wald attributes her tennis skills to lessons started at age 5 at Orchardly Park with her grandfather John Nealon. Cara plans to major in business at Miami U. “I’m very proud of her and glad she’s able to do something she wants to do,” said father Gregg Wald. Cara was coached at OHS by Kim Gilbert.

With mother Ellen and father Rick Boyer looking on proudly, Oakwood High School senior Ben Boyer signs his National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Toledo in the fall of 2007 and be a member of the nationally-renowned golf team. Ben was coached by Jen Lohmeyer and earned First Team All Ohio this year.
