OHS Cafeteria was host to the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday. The complimentary dinner, funded by the Oakwood Rotary, organized by the Oakwood Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 107, and with a helping hand from OHS student groups Oakwood Giving, Giving Strings and the OHS Student Council, made Thanksgiving a pleasant occasion for over 40 Oakwood citizens who attended the event or had meals delivered to them. Theresa Hammond of Ashley’s Pastries provided the dinner rolls and Colleen and Julia Judge of Giving Strings provided classical musical accompaniment with the meal.
