Dr. Jim & Doneese Sheriden live on Park Road. Their grounds are wooded and back up to Houk Stream. “Gotta great Deer Story for you,” began Jim. “Yesterday morning I looked out our back window and saw a deer getting a drink out of our swimming pool! It was a large doe. Next she either fell in or went into the pool. She swam around for a while…didn’t seem panicked. I was about to call the Police for help with getting her out. But then she swam to the shallow end, walked to the steps, and out she stepped! She walked to the gate we’d forgotten to close – and into the woods she went!”

The backdrop scene sure looks like the Dayton skyline.” Later Chris Matthews identified the speaker as “…the brother of Senator Chris Hagel (R) Neb…” When Tom Hagel came on again with his rebuttal the cut-line under his picture read: “Law Professor,
University of Dayton.”!
